After moving into a newly renovated office, Pinsight asked us to create wall art concepts for their many conference rooms—each named after a notable (and now deceased) Kansas Citian. I pitched the idea of using a single-line illustration style, inspired by the work of the brilliant Felix Sockwell (whom I strongly advocated for on this project). While they ultimately decided to keep the work in-house—sorry, Felix—we embraced the challenge. After some trial and error, we not only delivered the final pieces, but also took home a 2017 AIGA KC Award for the project. Design Help from Eric Haines.
